We are currently seeking an Account Strategist. The role is based in our spacious and bright private office located by London Bridge in a trendy shared offices pace.
As a FeedSpark Account Strategist, you will be reporting to the Head of Feed Solutions and working closely with Aroxo founders. You’ll be working and communicating directly with large brands such as Ikea, Dunelm, Samsung, Holland & Barrett, Selfridges and many others. You’ll be working on their product feed optimisation, working on plans to improve their data and working to solve issues in the data feeds we’re producing. You will also be involved in upselling new business to these clients.
You will be responsible for the strategy, management and execution of the optimisation plans in alignment with client goals and KPIS. You will partner with internal and external parties to enhance the data quality of the feeds through testing new initiatives, performing key optimisations and establishing best practices. This key client facing role combines a strong balance of cross channels strategy, project organisation and relationship management. As you develop in the role, you will become more involved in business development and potentially pitching. Ownership of the overall quality and accuracy of deliverables will also fall to you, including richness of insight. A solid grasp of Excel is a must with any additional knowledge of media industry platforms, analytics or data suppliers looked upon very favourably. All in all, you will be a strong, hands-on data specialist with broad knowledge spanning both quantitative and qualitative research techniques
Proactivity, start-up mindset and self-starter attitude are what we’re looking for. Strong affinity with ecommerce, product data feeds and other ad tech solutions are key to the role. Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning is desirable as we move further into this sector.
You will work in an exciting environment surrounded by highly motivated and creative people whilst working closely with large UK & International brands, agencies and advertisers (Google, Facebook…)on a daily basis. As a growing company the job may require work hours flexibility and travel to different companies may be part of the job.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Maths or related area
- Full Google Shopping ads Certification
- Advanced Levels of Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Written and Spoken Traditional and Simplified Chinese and English skills
- Data visualisation techniques skills (SPSS…)
Previous Experience
- Previous experience within retail client or agency role (3+ years of experience in Paid Search or Social)
- Advanced proficiency with Facebook/Instagram Ads and Google Shopping Ads
- Mastering Google Ads and Excellent Understanding of the Google Eco-System
- Data Analysis and visualisation techniques skills
- Experience working in an IT or technical environment
- Technical account management experience

Key Accountabilities
- Own and manage the client’s portfolio, activation strategy and daily optimisation tasks
- Set and manage expectations of client to deliver quality work and service
- Oversee day-to-day work completed by team based in London and oversea, inclusive of ensuring team members are maintaining strong time management and fulfilling tasks up to quality standards
- Align with client’s services to work toward client’ goals while maintaining effectively a collaborative environment growth for the wider team
- Contribute in developing and improving way of working that improve results
- Plan and develop account opportunities aligned with meeting and/or exceeding client’s performance goals
- Proven ability to think strategically, making credible recommendations to clients that drive measurable results; identifies and pursues opportunities to grow business
- Display strong project management skills to effectively prioritise tasks, test activations and client deliverables
- Identify and anticipate emerging client development opportunities through frequent and fluid communication (in person, via emails and on calls)
- Prepare and lead performance review presentations
- Actively participate in all weekly calls/meetings as a thought leader
- Develop positive relationships that reflect true partnership in achieving the objectives of the client’s business and the goals of the client
- Maintain a full and detailed understanding of all recommendations and proposals
- Help to educate the clients on data feeds strategies and tactics
Main Duties
- Ensure the delivery of feed quality to clients
- Identify key areas to help client strategically
- Liaise between multiple stake holders the suitability of various technical solutions
- Provide service support on our proprietary platform to self-serve clients and agencies
- Support clients on a day to day basis to address their advertising data/tech related queries and issues
- Communicate internally between department (product and engineering teams) to improve the tech infrastructure or services release
- Project manage the long-term strategy for data optimisation
- Ability to identify the technical issues and address them to the correct marketing channels and partners (Google, Bing, Facebook and other marketing channels)
- Communicate clearly with clients to establish project scope, including identifying and prioritising additional services and requests from clients
- Assess technology solutions and data tools to improve our processes and speed
Leadership:
- Proactively seeks to share unique knowledge and learnings across the Team
- Be at forefront of Performance knowledge (PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Social, Analytics) by keeping up to date with industry news and developments
- Develop an understanding of the various digital media channels (display, affiliates, social media) and the potential for them in your clients marketing activity
- Develop positive relationships that reflect true partnership in achieving the objectives of the client’s business and the goals of the client
- Actively nurture the goal of making FeedSpark an enjoyable and extraordinary place for staff to work and for clients to engage with
- Help in preparation for and or attend sales pitches as required
- Contribute to new business development when required
